Ossian, Iowa

The Stangeland, Hudson and Rogers families have a known history going back to the 13th Century.  We've collected and digitized hundreds of photos and have organized them by family through the generations, putting the family tree together as well as we can.  We've created a photographic family history archive centered around Lauren Elizabeth, Brady Michael and Anders Stangeland Miller and you can see it here.

 

 

We took a trip to Ossian, Iowa to visit the old Stangeland family farm and surrounding areas.  We were fortunate enough to be there for the Ossian Days Parade, which was great fun.  We've also included pictures of the town of Ossian and scenic shots of the countryside.
