We spent a month near Ossian, Iowa studying the Stangeland family history, finding family members and old friends, seeing the old home place and enjoying the area. The old Stangeland home place is a farm located near Ossian, Iowa. The Stangeland family no longer lives on the farm, but many of the old buildings are still there.
